Being Flown in a Private Plane to do a Façade Restoration
Not an everyday occurrence but the customer needed the paint removed from the store front in time for “Doors Open” in Wiarton for the circa 1890 historic Lloyds building http://www.doorsopenontario.on.ca/userfiles/HTML/nts_1_39_1.html and so it was off into the wild blue yonder for Absolute Blast. The paint covered pillars were cleaned off under HFRG guidelines http://hfrg.ca and once re-pointed and sealed will stand another century.

Cleaning up Dirty Façade in Burlington
The Staples/ Michael’s Plaza at Brant and Plains Rd Burlington is a typical block construction building with a course block exterior in two and three finishes. All these finishes are easily made dirty by air pollution making the building look tired and unappealing which is not a good thing for the businesses there. Being rough concrete the simplest solution is a brush blast with a clean shot leaving the surface looking new and pristine. Having a truck with its own bucket lift makes it a winner for Absolute Blast.

Graffiti Gone Day in Hamilton
Hitting graffiti tags fast and repetitively seems to work. The “artists” usually quit after their third “artwork” has been dispatched with in 48 hours by Absolute Blast using techniques learned on courses with the Historic Façade Restoration Guild. Mostly a summer problem when the weather is good graffiti can be cured with diligence. Presented here is a collection of pictures of commercial buildings fighting back all on the same day and as this is being posted they are clear and graffiti free.
