Graffiti Gone Day in Hamilton
Hitting graffiti tags fast and repetitively seems to work. The “artists” usually quit after their third “artwork” has been dispatched with in 48 hours by Absolute Blast using techniques learned on courses with the Historic Façade Restoration Guild. Mostly a summer problem when the weather is good graffiti can be cured with diligence. Presented here is a collection of pictures of commercial buildings fighting back all on the same day and as this is being posted they are clear and graffiti free.

Ghost Busters
A challenging “ghost” graffiti removal on the historic downtown Liuna headquarters in Hamilton Ontario sets the standards in doing it right. Never mind the safety concerns of being up on the roof the soft brick of this historic building had to be respected. Damage to the brick surface is always has to be avoided in the harsh Canadian climate as the freeze thaw cycles will spall the surface and destroy the brick if water can penetrate through the thin outer waterproof surface.
Using paint removers and low pressure cleaning as part of the process plus other HFRG techniques brings the job to a successful finish. The happy client has continued to use Absolute Blast for other graffiti removals on this building and other Liuna properties in the city.
