Being Flown in a Private Plane to do a Façade Restoration

Not an everyday occurrence but the customer needed the paint removed from the store front in time for “Doors Open” in Wiarton for the circa 1890 historic Lloyds building http://www.doorsopenontario.on.ca/userfiles/HTML/nts_1_39_1.html and so it was off into the wild blue yonder for Absolute Blast. The paint covered pillars were cleaned off under HFRG guidelines http://hfrg.ca and once re-pointed and sealed will stand another century.

Mould Removal

This modern building was suffering from an infestation of mould that had grown on the outside surface of the open concrete block structure. This was exacerbated by water from the roof running down the face during heavy rains.
Being a simple rough cast block surface made the cleaning a simple procedure of blasting it off with a very fine ground glass media. The finish was then sealed with a deep penetrating block sealer which left the dull finish that had been chosen by the original architect.
