Custom Flag Pole Insurance Claim
Asked to replicate this damaged flag pole which was a victim of a vehicle impact and now an insurance claim we realized that we had to custom match the adjacent poles on the property. Custom fabrication and the installation was a nice change from the usual work for our crew.
The closeness of the motel pool was another consideration to be dealt with. Tarping the deck etc to prevent any debris being left there as a hazard to bare feet etc was standard procedure for Absolute Blast as we do do a lot of insurance work and deal with the logistics of protecting private property etc. whilst working.
With a new base made to ministry guidelines and it’s flag once more flying proudly this pole will hopefully never be hit and stand for years to come.

Ghost Busters
A challenging “ghost” graffiti removal on the historic downtown Liuna headquarters in Hamilton Ontario sets the standards in doing it right. Never mind the safety concerns of being up on the roof the soft brick of this historic building had to be respected. Damage to the brick surface is always has to be avoided in the harsh Canadian climate as the freeze thaw cycles will spall the surface and destroy the brick if water can penetrate through the thin outer waterproof surface.
Using paint removers and low pressure cleaning as part of the process plus other HFRG techniques brings the job to a successful finish. The happy client has continued to use Absolute Blast for other graffiti removals on this building and other Liuna properties in the city.
